Banana, Kale and Peanut Butter Smoothie by Catherine Arnold Nutrition

This is a real favourite smoothie in our household, its creamy, sweet and a great way to take your greens. Experiement with different nut butters or use tahini for a nutfree version.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup of almond milk

1 large handful of kale

1/2 large frozen banana

1 tsp organic blackstrap molasses

1/2 tbsp peanut butter (or any other nut butter / try tahini for a nutfree version)

1 tsp moringa powder (optional)

Method:

Put all ingredients into a good blender in the order listed and whizz up! Drink immediately or store in the fridge.

    Wowsers! That ones a goodie! Lasted all of 10 seconds especially with Freddie gulping it down too! Didn’t have moringa so swapped for maca, also used coconut milk (just added tbls of organic coconut cream to the measure of water and whizzed). tasted great….. Thanks! X
